Every language has got its own comic charm. Similarly Marathi, as a language, is rich of wonderful comic literature as well as audio visual entertainment. Some famous personalities like Pu La Despande, Acharya Atre, have played a significant role in the evolution of humourous Marathi literature. On screen performances of Dada Konke, Laxmikant Berde, Ashok Saraf have been making the whole of Maharashtra laugh their lungs out over the past few years.
